چکیده
Hydraulic fracturing is a key technology for shale gas production. Activating the natural fracture (NF) system in reservoirs and forming complex network can greatly improve effect of fracturing. The mainly influenced by geological factors operational parameters reservoir. Effectively reforming reservoir under unfavourable conditions maximizing activation NFs substantially increase its reformed volume production gas. Alternating fluid injection (AFI) technologies using multiple fluids with different viscosities activate closed while retaining high conductivity principal to achieve larger stimulated (SRV). In this paper, hydraulic-mechanical coupling finite element method (FEM) established, AFI numerically simulated continuum method. addition, propagation stage path are discussed. results show that form fractures comparatively paths.

The Behaviour of Fracture Growth in Sedimentary Rocks: A Numerical Study Based on Hydraulic Fracturing Processes
To capture the hydraulic fractures in heterogeneous and layered rocks, a numerical code that can consider the coupled effects of fluid flow, damage, and stress field in rocks is presented. Based on the characteristics of a typical thin and inter-bedded sedimentary reservoir, China, a series of simulations on the hydraulic fracturing are performed. In the simulations, three points, i.e., (1) con...
متن کاملHydraulic Fracturing Simulation for Fracture Networks
The term ‘Unconventional Reservoirs’ is used in the oil and gas industry for hydrocarbon reservoirs that have very low permeability in the magnitude of microdarcy (μd) and therefore rely on artificially introducing pathways for fluids and gases, commonly by using hydraulic fracturing techniques, to enable economic production. This approach of using fracturing stimulation campaigns is also incre...

Hydraulic fracturing, natural fracture reactivation and resulting induced microseismicity are interconnected phenomena involved in shale gas exploitation. Due to their multi-physics and their complexity, deep understanding of these phenomena as well as their mutual interaction require the adoption of coupled mechanical and fluid flow approaches. Modeling these systems is a challenging procedure...

Hydraulic fracturing in the fractured reservoirs plays a significant impact on the production rate. In this study, the hydrostatic condition is taken into account, the hydraulic fracturing operation was applied in every direction usinga written distinct element code. In each direction the hydraulic fracture is applied with different lengths and in each level the amount of production is predicte...
